SECTION 2: Hazards identification

Prepared in accordance with the Globally Harmonized System, U.S. OSHA and EU standards. This product is classified as a HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE and as DANGEROUS GOODS according to the classification criteria of Australian WHS Act & Regulations (WHSR) and Australian Dangerous Goods (ADG) Code. DANGER! CAUSES SEVERE SKIN BURNS AND EYE DAMAGE. MAY INTENSIFY FIRE: OXIDIZER. TOXIC TO AQUATIC LIFE.

Precautionary statements

P210 – Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames, and other ignition sources. No smoking. P220 – Keep away from clothing and other combustible materials. P260 – Do not breathe dust or mist. P261 – Avoid breathing fumes/mist/vapors/spray. P264 – Wash hands and exposed skin areas with soap and warm water thoroughly after handling. P273 – Avoid release to the environment. P280 – Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. P301+P330+P331 – IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. P303+P361+P353 – IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water [or shower]. P363 – Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. P304+P340 – IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. P310 – Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor. P321 – Specific treatment: see section 4 of this SDS. P305+P351+P338 IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. P370+P378 – In case of fire: Use fire- extinguishing media appropriate for surrounding materials to extinguish. P405 – Store locked up. P501 - Dispose of contents/ container to an approved waste disposal plant. Other Warnings: Obtain special instructions before use. Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood.
