Prevention

Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Wear protective gloves. Avoid breathing mist, vapors, or sprays. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.

Response

If on skin: Wash with plenty of water. Specific treatment for skin exposure: Remove contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash with large amounts of water until no evidence of chemical remains. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice. Take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse. If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice. If inhaled: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Call a poison center or physician if you feel unwell.
