2.3 Other hazards
Controls are formulated with a buffer base or animal waste (feces). All bovine serum products used are derived from animals of US origin, processed in USDA licensed facilities Wash Buffer, Serum Diluent and Controls in kits are formulated with Thimerosal as a preservative. Avoid contact with Stop Solution containing Phosphoric Acid, an irritant to the skin and mucous membranes. In case of contact with any of these reagents, wash thoroughly with water.
