Potential health effects
Acute toxicity: Information on: propan-2-ol Of low toxicity after single ingestion. Virtually nontoxic by inhalation. Virtually nontoxic after a single skin contact. Inhalation-risk test (IRT): No mortality within 7 hours as shown in animal studies. The inhalation of a highly saturated vapor-air mixture represents no acute hazard. Vapours may cause drowsiness and dizziness. High concentrations in the air may cause narcosis. If used as intended, this product is not expected to present a physical or health hazard. Repeated dose toxicity: Overexposure may cause CNS depression including headache, dizziness, nausea and loss of consciousness.
