May be corrosive to metals. Causes severe skin burns and eye damage.
Prevention
Keep only in original container. Do not breathing vapours. Wash skin thoroughly after handling. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection/face protection.
Response
Absorb spillage to prevent material damage. If swallowed: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. If on skin (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water for at least 15 minutes/shower. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. If inhaled: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor. Specific treatment (see supplemental first aid on the label). If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing, keeping eyelids open.
Storage
DISPOSAL Store in corrosive resistant container. Store locked up. Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations (see 13th section).
