Corrosive substance, causes burns Symptoms and effects of exposure: Skin contact: Corrosive, causes burns with symptoms of redness, severe pain, blistering may occur. Eye contact: corrosive, can cause deep burns of the eyes, severe pain, redness. Inhalation can cause severe irritation and / or burns of the respiratory system. Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, severe pain. Hazardous properties: Contact with acids liberates toxic gas. Strongly oxidizing liquid.
