Highly flammable liquid and vapor. Causes serious eye irritation. May cause drowsiness or dizziness. May be harmful if swallowed and enters airways.

Prevention

Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Keep container tightly closed. Use explosion-proof [electrical/ventilating/lighting] equipment. Ground and bond container and receiving equipment. Use non-sparking tools. Take action to prevent static discharges. Wash thoroughly after handling. Avoid breathing dust/mist/vapors/spray. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.

Response

In case of fire: Use water spray, foam, dry powder or carbon dioxide for extinction. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water [or shower]. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention. IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Call a POISON CENTER/doctor if you feel unwell. IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor. Do NOT induce vomiting.
