SECTION 2: Hazards identification
Astroflame Mortar has no hazard classification according to 88/379/EEC. Addition of water to all similar products that contains lime release alkalis which may cause irritation to the skin and eyes. Respirable dust from any fine powders could, if inhaled over a prolonged period, constitute a health hazard. The current Occupational Exposure Standards for the above dust should not be exceeded. Ingress into waterways may cause discolouration. BOD may be harmful to aquatic organisms.
