Potential health effects
Skin contact Exposure may cause irritation characterized by redness, dryness and inflammation Eye contact: Causes eye irritation. Inhalation: Inhalation of high concentrations of vapors may cause central nervous system effects characterized by headache, dizziness, and uphoria leading to unconsciousness in severe cases. Vapors also irritate the respiratory tract. Symptoms may include coughing, difficult breathing and chest pain. Ingestion: Aspiration hazard. Causes gastrointestinal irritation with nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. May cause central nervous system depression, characterized by excitement, followed by headache, dizziness, drowsiness and nausea. Advanced stages may cause collapse, unconsciousness, coma and possible death due to respiratory failure.
