Health hazards
Eyes This product contains a component which is eye corrosive. Skin This product contains a component which is corrosive to skin. This product induced skin sensitization in an animal study. This product may induce skin sensitization in humans. Ingestion This material will probably cause chemical burns of the mouth, pharynx, esophagus, and stomach in humans, following ingestion of this material. Injury may be severe and cause death. Inhalation Vapors and aerosols are probably corrosive to respiratory passages, and may cause ulcerations of nose, throat and larynx. May lead to pulmonary edema, chemical pneumonia and death. Chronic Exposure Hydrochloric acid: Can induce pulmonary edema and laryngeal spasm.
