2.1 Classification of the substance or mixture
Depending on the type of handling and use, airborne respirable crystalline silica may be generated. Prolonged and/or massive inhalation of respirable silica dust may cause silicosis. Occupational exposure to respirable crystalline silica should be monitored and controlled. This product should be handled with care to avoid dust generation. Causes severe skin burns and eye damage. Causes serious eye damage. May cause cancer.

Precautionary statements
Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. If on skin (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If swallowed: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing.
