SECTION 2: Hazards identification
The product is not classified as hazardous. During handling (welding, cutting, grinding) the product can release dust, particles, and smoke. This may cause irritation to eyes and respiratory tract. The product contains nickel that, when exposed to heat, can form nickel oxide, which is carcinogenic. The product con- tains chrome that, when exposed to heat, can form chrome oxide, which is carcinogenic and can damage the mucous membrane.
