Environmental effects
In concentrated form the product is toxic to aquatic organisms and may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. If used according to specifications the surfactants toxic for aquatic organisms are oil soluble and should therefore not be present in the separated water phase.
Potential health effects
Eyes Irritating to eyes. Ingestion Butylglycol may cause damage to the liver and kidney. 2- Ethylhexaneacid is toxic to the reproduction (classification 3), this substance may also cause damage to the foetus. Inhalation Irritation of the respiratory tract is possible.
