SECTION 2: Hazards identification
OVEREXPOSURE EFFECTS: ACUTE EFFECTS: EYES: Corrosive to eyes. Contact with eyes can cause severe irritation, redness, tearing, blurred vision, and/or swelling. May cause eye damage. SKIN: Contact with skin can cause severe irritation, (itching, burning and/or redness), dermatitis, defatting may be readily absorbed through the skin. INHALATION: Inhalation of vapors can cause nasal and respiratory irritation, dizziness, weakness, fatigue, nausea, headache, possible unconsciousness, and/or asphyxiation. Aspiration of material into lungs may result in chemical pneumonitis which can be fatal. INGESTION: Ingestion can cause severe gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. May cause burns of the mouth, throat, esophagus, and stomach.
