2.1 Classification of the substance or mixture
This product is a plastic film. It is not hazardous according to article 31 and Annex II of the REACH Regulation. Critical hazard to man and environment: At elevated processing temperatures or if involved in a fire, the fluoropolymer starts to degrade and emit vapors which may represent a hazard when inhaled. Eye, nose, throat and lung irritation can occur from such vapors. Contamination of tobacco products with fluoropolymer dust must be avoided. Do not smoke into the work area.
