This material contains quartz, a source of crystalline silica. In its intended form, there is no exposure to respirable crystalline silica dust. If this material is used in a way that will produce silica dust, users should adhere to all occupational expsosure guidelines and PPE requirements to protect employees from exposure. In its respirable form, crystalline silica causes cancer, silicosis, and other harmful lung infections.
