Potential health effects
Inhalation: Excessive inhalation of vapors can cause nasal and respiratory irritation. Respiratory symptoms associated with pre-existing lung disorders may be aggravated by exposure to this material. Eyes: This material may cause eye irritation. Skin: Prolonged and repeated contact with skin can cause defatting and drying of the skin, which may result in skin irritation and dermatitis. Contact may result is skin absorption, but symptoms of toxicity are not anticipated by this route alone under normal conditions of use. Persons with pre-existing skin disorders may be more susceptible to effects of this material. Ingestion: Ingestion can cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Aspiration of material into lungs can cause chemical pneumonitis, which can be fatal.
