SECTION 2: Hazards identification

CAUTION: Avoid inhaling dust, prolonged and repeated exposure to excessive concentrations of this product's dust containing respirable size (≤ 10 μ) dust, or any nuisance dust, can cause chronic pulmonary disease. Dust contact with eyes may cause temporary scratchiness or redness. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, & clothing. Risk of injury is dependent on the duration and level of exposure. A single exposure under normal conditions of use will not result in serious adverse effects. MEDICAL CONDITIONS WHICH MAY BE AGGRAVATED: Pre-existing upper respiratory and lung disease, such as, but not limited to: Bronchitis, emphysema, and asthma. May cause slight but temporary irritation to the eyes. May cause slight irritation to the skin. CHRONIC TOXICITY: Diatomaceous Earth has not been found to result in elevated risks of cancer, reproductive impairment, or genetic mutations.
