Health hazards
toxic in contact with skin, and if swallowed. This product is formulated to cause rapid death to animals when injected. Particular care should be taken to avoid accidental ingestion and self-injection. Pentobarbitone is a potent hypnotic and a sedative, and thus potentially toxic in humans. It can be adsorbed systemically through the skin and if swallowed. Systemic uptake (including absorption via skin or eye) of Pentobarbitone causes sedation, sleep induction and respiratory depression. In addition, this product may be irritating to the eye and can cause irritation to the skin as well as hypersensitivity reactions (due to the presence of Pentobarbitone and benzyl alcohol). Embryo toxic effects cannot be excluded. People with known hypersensitivity to Pentobarbitone should avoid contact with this product. Handle the product with utmost care, especially women of childbearing potential. Wear protective gloves. Do not drink, eat or smoke when handling this product. Wash hands after use. DO NOT DRIVE AFTER BEING INJECTED WITH THIS PRODUCT.
