Emergency Overview: Warning! Irritant. Material can cause eye, skin, and respiratory irritation. Exposure can lead to respiratory tract irritation. Material may be harmful if swallowed. Heated material may cause thermal burns.
Principle Routes of Exposure
Inhalation, skin contact, ingestion, eye contact Symptoms of Exposure Eye Contact: Extreme irritation. Exposure can cause serious eye pain and redness. Skin Contact: Minor irritation. May be a skin sensitizer. Not likely to be absorbed in toxic amounts. Heated material may lead to thermal burns. Repeated exposure may cause dryness and cracking. Inhalation: Not likely a problem at room temperature. Vapors from heated material may be irritating. High vapor concentration can lead to irritation of respiratory tract, as well as dizziness and fatigue. Ingestion: Not harmful under normal conditions of use. Ingestion in large amounts may cause injury. Effect of Over-exposure: May cause skin sensitization. Possible nasal or lung irritation or central nervous system depression. Chronic and Other Health Effects: None known.
