Bagian ii - identifikasi risiko
FIRST AID MEASURES Inhalation Remove the victim to get fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get immediate medical attention. Eye contact Not applicable Skin contact Not applicable SECTION 5. FIRE AND EXPLOSION Autoignition: 581 oF (205 oC) Extinguishing media: Carbon Dioxide, Dry Chemical, Water. Fire-fighting special instructions: Turn off acetylene sources whenever possible. Only put out the fire if the flow can be stopped. Keep nearby canisters cool by spraying large amounts of water until the fire goes out on its own and the tube remains cool. If the fire is extinguished and the acetylene continues to flow out, the explosion may re-ignite. Risk of explosion and severe fire: Fire or excessive heat can cause melting metal pressure relief devices to melt and the acetylene will flow out. The tube can burst violently if the sidewall is directly exposed to the fire. Hazardous combustion products: Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide. SECTION 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES If material flows out or is spilled: Evacuate the area immediately. Remove all sources of ignition, and provide explosion-proof ventilation as much as possible. Discontinue the acetylene source, if possible. Isolate the leaky tube. If the leak is from melting tubes, valves, or metal pressure relief devices, contact your supplier. SECTION 7. STORAGE AND HANDLING STORAGE: Store and use with adequate ventilation. The cylinder must be separated from oxygen and other oxidizing agents by a minimum distance of 20 feet or by a barricade made of non- combustible material with a height of at least 5 feet that has a fire resistance rating for at least ½ hour. Storage of more than 2,500 cubic feet should not be used in occupied buildings. Cylinders should be stored in an upright position with the valve protection caps in place and securely attached so that they do not fall or open accidentally. Install "No smoking or
